Enjoy music and dance performances, artmaking opportunities, local Native organizations selling fry bread and Indian tacos, vendors showcasing jewelry, art, crafts, clothing and more. Engage with art, explore onsite activities, and experience exhibitions on view all while enjoying free general admission! Free Days include access to the entire Denver Art Museum campus, including the Hamilton Building, Martin Building, and The Kirkland. Special ticketed exhibitions require additional ticket. The Truth About 250-150 is a free, immersive gallery installed inside a renovated school bus, a cargo trailer, a tipi, and a shade tent. Created in response to Colorado's 150th anniversary and the nation's 250th, it challenges official state narratives and bears witness to the legacy of violence, land dispossession, and systemic injustice against Native peoples — amplifying Native voices through murals, interactive installations, a zine, youth art, audio, and video. The experience combines education, artistry, and somatic practice to invite guests into healing, reflection and reparations. See website for full tour info.
